Vaccination Update

Autumn 2022 Boosters

People will now have started to receive appointment letters for their autumn COVID-19 booster vaccination, which we will start to deliver from September.  The roll out of the Autumn Booster Programme will again see very large volumes of appointments being delivered everyday, please where at all possible keep the appointment offered.

All appointments will be arranged by invitation so there is no need to contact us. Anyone who has received an invitation and has any concerns, queries or needs to change the date or time can do so via our COVID-19 Vaccination Contact Centre on 03000 840004. Telephone lines are open 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-2pm on Weekends.

First doses for 5-11-year-olds

Parents of healthy children aged 5-11 have until Wednesday, 31 August, to arrange a first dose for their child.

Appointments can be booked by calling our COVID-19 Vaccination Contact Centre on 03000 840004. Telephone lines are open 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-2pm on Weekends.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has advised that children aged 5-11 should be offered the vaccine to increase protection against potential future waves of COVID-19.

We’re encouraging parents and children to make an informed decision about whether to go ahead with vaccination, based on up-to-date information from trusted sources. This week Public Health Wales have published information on their website to support this.

Other age groups - primary and booster doses

While we start to deliver our autumn booster programme, it is not too late for anyone who needs a primary dose (first, second or third) or booster to be vaccinated.

To book your COVID-19 vaccination call our Contact Centre on 03000 840004 or visit one of our drop-in clinics.
