Weekly updates on our vaccination plans and progress in North Wales:
Updates from January and March have been archived.
Our booster campaign is now well underway and we have delivered almost 50,000 booster vaccinations across North Wales already. This is a really important part of making sure we protect as many people in our communities as possible as we head into the winter months, and in turn our vital NHS services.
This week we have begun offering the COVID-19 vaccine to healthy 12-15-year-olds, while stepping up our efforts to get booster jabs into the arms of people who are most vulnerable to serious illness from COVID-19.
With our booster programme well underway and our teams preparing to administer first dose vaccines to healthy 12-15-year-olds next week, we are using this week’s briefing to provide an overview of who is eligible for first, second and booster dose vaccines, and how they can receive their jab(s).
Last week, our vaccinators were among the first in the UK to start delivering the COVID-19 booster vaccine.
