Screening

Screening programmes allow for the early detection and treatment of potential health problems. You can be offered information, further tests and appropriate treatment to reduce the risk and/or complications arising from the disease or condition. 

Screening programmes in Wales include; abdominal aortic aneurysm, breast, cervical, bowel, antenatal, newborn hearing and newborn bloodspot.
