Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is fully committed to the objectives published in our Strategic Equality and Human Rights Plan and to an open and transparent dialogue with all our stakeholders about our progress and challenges (see our Annual Equality Reports).
We have implemented a robust strategic approach to Equality Impact Assessment (EqIA) over a number of years led by the Corporate Equalities Team and fully supported by our Board. This has enabled us to embed the principles of EqIA into our policy development and decision-making processes by devolving responsibility for conducting EqIA’s to operational staff around the Health Board.
Equality Impact Assessments related to major service reconfiguration projects such as Living Healthier, Staying Well are published on the Health Board’s website alongside other documents associated with the projects. Our website homepage is located here.
Anyone interested in accessing EqIA documents not published on our main website is welcome to contact a member of the Corporate Equality and Human Rights Team. Details of how to contact are on our main Equality and Human Rights page.
