Pregnant Women

Flu

Pregnant women will be offered a free flu vaccine at their GP surgery as part of their normal pregnancy health checks. You will usually be invited to attend an appointment at your surgery.

Pregnant women can get the free flu vaccine at any time during their pregnancy. For maximum protection for you and your baby, please get vaccinated as early as possible this winter.

It's not too late to boost your protection against flu. If you have any questions about your flu vaccine, please contact your community midwife.

COVID-19

To help protect mums-to-be and developing babies, all pregnant women will be offered a COVID-19 autumn booster.

You will be sent details of your vaccination appointment. You may be invited to attend your GP surgery or a vaccination centre.

Please keep to the appointment offered if possible.
