Looking after my body for teenagers
As children become teenagers, they become more aware of their changing body and the need to look after it because of the increased social awareness. Teens can be reluctant to carry out daily routines independently and often need a lot of prompts from parents. Over time, the teens become more independent. Teens with motor skill difficulties often have organisational problems which affect their ability to carry out routines independently and they may need strategies and parental help for longer than the average child.
