Flintshire

If you are eligible for the annual NHS flu or Autumn COVID-19 vaccines, you can now walk into one of our community vaccination centres in Flintshire without an appointment

School aged children (from Reception to Year 11) who have not received the NHS flu vaccine this winter can walk in without an appointment. Bookable appointments are not available in Flintshire at this time.  Children aged two and three can get the vaccine at their GP surgery.

Autumn COVID-19 vaccines will be offered to adults aged 75 years and over, residents in care homes for older adults, and all adults and children aged six months and over with a weaker immune system because of a health condition or medical treatment. Full details of eligibility for the Autumn COVID-19 vaccine are available here.

Hawarden Scout Hut

Drop-in vaccination clinics will take place at Hawarden Scout Hut on the following dates.
Clinics will close for lunch between 1 and 1.45pm.

  • Tuesday January 20, from 10:30am to 4.30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.
  • Tuesday January 27, from 10:30am to 4.30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.

At busier times, people dropping in without an appointment may be asked to wait a short time until a slot becomes available.

 

Gwernymynydd Village Centre

Ruthin Road, Mold, CH7 4AF

Drop-in vaccination clinics will take place at Gwernymynydd Village Centre on the following dates.
Clinics will close for lunch between 1 and 2pm.

  • Friday January 16, from 10:45am to 4.30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.
  • Friday January 23, from 10:45am to 4.30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.

At busier times, people dropping in without an appointment may be asked to wait a short time until a slot becomes available.

 

RiverDee Centre, Flint

Castle Street, Flint  CH6 5PF

Drop-in vaccination clinics will take place at the RiverDee Centre on the following dates.
Clinics will close for lunch between 1 and 2pm.

  • Thursday January 8, from 11am to 4:30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.
  • Thursday January 15, from 11am to 4:30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.
  • Thursday January 22, from 11am to 4:30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.
  • Thursday January 29, from 11am to 4:30pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on this date.

Holywell Golf Club

Clinics will close for lunch between 1 and 1.45pm.

  • Monday January 19, from 10.45am to 4.15pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.15pm on this date.
  • Monday January 26, from 10.45am to 4.15pm
    Drop-in flu vaccination for school aged children will be available between 3.30pm and 4.15pm on this date.
