Your COVID-19 vaccine

People at highest risk of serious illness will be offered a COVID-19 vaccine this spring

COVID-19 continues to circulate in Wales, and is more likely to cause serious illness for older people and people with a weaker immune system.

If you or your loved ones are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, please make sure you have topped up your protection. COVID-19 vaccines are quick and very safe, and reduce your risk of serious illness and hospital admission.

Vaccines to protect everyone aged over 75 from respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) will also be offered from April onwards.

Am I eligible and how do I get a COVID-19 Spring vaccine?

The COVID-19 Spring vaccine will be offered to the following groups.

Invitations to attend a vaccination appointment will be issued throughout April, May and June. Please be patient – there is no need to contact us.

The vaccine will usually be offered to patients around six months (and a minimum of three months) following their last dose. The COVID-19 Spring vaccination campaign will end on June 30 2026.

Further guidance about eligibility is available from the Welsh Government
