Health board and NHS staff: get your flu vaccine

Flu vaccines reduce the risk of serious illness for staff, our loved ones, patients and colleagues

How to get your staff flu vaccine

Health board and other NHS staff can choose to book an appointment at one of our vaccination centres during September, attend a drop-in vaccination clinic, or get a vaccine from their local staff peer vaccinator. Please find more information about the locations, dates and times of bookable appointments and drop-in sessions below.

If you are not a member of NHS staff, please click here for more information about how to access your flu vaccine.

Please look out for further information in your workplace about opportunities to receive your flu vaccine from a local peer vaccinator, or ask your line manager.

To arrange for a flu vaccinator to visit your ward, department or workplace to offer a session for staff, please complete this form

Other ways to get your annual staff flu vaccine

Health board and other NHS staff who are part of one of the other eligible groups may be invited to receive their vaccine at their GP surgery. Flu vaccines for health board and other NHS staff are also available at one of the many local community pharmacies offering the vaccine throughout North Wales. Please contact your local pharmacy in advance because you may need to make an appointment and remember to take your NHS ID with you.

If you have your staff flu vaccine at a community pharmacy or GP surgery, please inform the health board's occupational health team using this form so we can keep your occupational vaccination records up to date.

Health board teams are unable to vaccinate agency nursing staff. Agency nursing staff can arrange flu vaccination through their employer.

Autumn COVID-19 vaccines

Health board and other NHS staff will not be routinely offered a COVID-19 vaccine at work this autumn, following advice from the Welsh Government

Health board and other NHS staff may be offered a COVID-19 vaccine if they are part of one of the other eligible groups, and will be invited to receive the vaccine by letter.
