Your flu vaccine

The seasonal flu vaccine is offered every year between September and March. This page will be updated in August 2024 ahead of this year's campaign, which will begin in the Autumn. For more information about other vaccination programmes, please click here.

Flu is a serious respiratory illness affecting the lungs and airways. It can lead to serious conditions like bronchitis and pneumonia, which can require hospital treatment. Flu can result in serious health consequences for many of the most vulnerable people.

Get protected

The best way to protect against the flu is to get the annual flu vaccine. The vaccine can prevent you getting the flu, and can reduce the severity of symptoms if you do get the flu.

Flu vaccines are quick and very safe. They can prevent weeks of serious illness, and protect you, your family and the wider community.
