Signs and symptoms of post COVID-19 syndrome (also known as Long COVID) develop during or following an infection consistent with the virus which continues for more than twelve weeks and are not explained by an alternative diagnosis. It also notes that many people with post-COVID syndrome can also experience generalised pain, fatigue, persisting high temperature and psychiatric problems.
Public Health Wales also have a useful information to help people affected by the pandemic to get back to community life.
