Governance and Publications
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act), every public authority is required to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme. The Act requires that all public authorities will proactively make information available to the public. The Model Publication Scheme and the Definition Document for Health Bodies in Wales produced by the Information Commissioner define seven broad classes of information as set out below.

Class One: Who we are and what we do
Three Year Plan 2024-2027, NHS structure, key organisations and partners, meetings with pharmaceutical companies, and other medical suppliers, pharmaceutical needs assessments (PNAs), contact details of public facing departments, Information sharing and 'Your Information, Your Rights'.
Class Two: What we spend and how we spend it
Standing orders and financial instructions, annual reports and accounts, capital programme, scheme of delegation, senior staff and Board members' allowances and expenses, staff pay grading and structures, funding, procurement and tendering and contracts awarded.
Class Three: What our priorities are and how we are doing
Three Year Plan 2024-2027, Annual reports, annual business plan, annual quality statements, targets, aims and objectives, performance against targets, annual governance statements, Caldicott, audit reports, surveys and data protection impact assessments.
Class Four: How we make decisions
Board papers, Corporate Risk Register, Health and Care Standards, Performance and Accountability Framework, patient and public involvement strategy, public consultations, internal communications guidance and the Welsh Language Standards.
Class Five: Our policies and procedures
Health and safety, equality and diversity, Welsh Language Standards, standing orders and financial instructions, data protection, estate management, charges for information.
Class Six: List and registers
Information that we are legally required to hold, asset registers and register of interests.
Class Seven: The services we offer
Clinical and non-clinical services, fees we can recover from services, how to make a complaint and corporate communications and media releases.
