The purpose of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board's Mental Health Act Committee is to ensure that all the requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended) are met by the Health Board.
The full role of the Committee is detailed in the Terms of Reference including the Power of Discharge Sub-Committee.
The Annual Workplan sets out the Committee's working practices including the requirement for a Cycle of Business (CoB) which is regularly revised.
