Chief Operating Officer

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this critical role is the Executive lead for operational performance and delivery. With the ability to drive change through engagement in order to improve patient outcomes, the Director will support the development and implementation of the organisation strategy and aligned clinical services plan and will work with colleagues to deliver the Health Board’s vision of Health care.

We are seeking a highly motivated leader, with an outstanding reputation and the energy, resilience, stamina and drive required of an Executive Director in a large University Health Board, with a proven ability to set and meet ambitious targets and monitor against targets.

The Chief Operating Officer will be accountable to the Board for operational delivery of the clinical and clinical support services that underpin the strategic direction of the organisation, with the key focus on overall performance and the need to continually improve well-being outcomes.
