The Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) service is offered in certain pharmacies. It allows the pharmacist to assess your symptoms, and where needed test your urine to confirm whether you have an infection.
The pharmacist will ask you some questions to decide if you need a urine test and complete a clinical assessment. Not everyone will need a urine test and if your answers indicate an infection is likely, a urine test may not be necessary. If a urine test is needed, you will need to wait a few minutes to get your result.
For more information about the service ask a member of the pharmacy team or visit the NHS111 Wales Website.
