Current status – 24 August, 2020

Glan Clwyd Hospital

We are providing urgent and routine face-to-face and telephone appointments in Glan Clwyd Hospital and some community hospital sites.  

Outpatient Cancer Clinics are continuing as normal activity in YGC.

Lung Function Diagnostics are operating at a reduced rate due to social distancing regulations and airflow requirements.

We are running face-to-face and telephone clinics for new and existing Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) patients.

We are offering face-to-face and telephone clinics for new and existing Asthma patients.

We are offering face-to-face and telephone clinics for general respiratory and COPD patients.

Pulse Oximetry is running as normal.

Pulmonary Rehab face-to-face sessions are currently being provided from a community site and plans are in place to increase these shortly.

Ysbyty Gwynedd

We have resumed normal service for consultant outpatient clinics at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Llandudno Hospital, Penrhos Stanley Hospital and Ysbyty Alltwen. 

We are providing urgent and routine face-to-face and telephone appointments for the below clinics: 

• Pleural clinics; USC; Urgent stage 1 new OPD, general respiratory conditions  

• Telephone clinics with some face-to-face appointments now available for Tuberculosis patients and new and existing Asthma patients.

• Xolair injection clinics for Asthma patients are reduced due to lack of capacity and limited space on alternative sites.

Oxygen clinics and home visits have restarted.

Lung function services are now resumed without restrictions due to AGP(aerosol generated procedures – required downtime between tests due to C19).

Sleep service services resumed with the additional capacity at community sites

Wrexham Maelor Hospital

We are seeing urgent and routine patients either face-to-face or through telephone consultations.

All Urgent Suspected Cancer clinics are running

 

Pleural, ILD and Asthma clinics are running
