The Neuropsychology Led Consultation Service

We have limited availability to provide the following consultation services for people with an acquired brain injury. Consultation is time-limited and acceptance of referral does not imply responsibility for longer-term management.

1. Specialist neuropsychological assessment and consultation for people with acquired brain injury who do not meet the criteria for neurorehabilitation.
2. Neuropsychological assessment and consultation for children with acquired brain injury.
3. Neuropsychological and neurological assessment and advice for people with persisting symptoms following concussion.
4. There are not yet any NHS inpatient rehabilitation services for acquired brain injury (except stroke) in North Wales. The Clinical Neuropsychology Service can provide consultation for inpatients at general and community hospitals to help inform discharge planning and / or specialist placement provision. We are not resourced to provide case management.
