Life on the ward

On arrival you will be introduced to your very own dedicated team of staff. They will meet you in person and help you to settle in on your first day. Throughout the duration of your stay they will support you in your progress, arrange and attend meetings with you and will keep in touch with your parent, carers and/ or relatives and community team as required.  If you have any questions at all about your stay, treatment or any concerns they will be there to listen. You can also choose to have a chat or a session with any member of staff in the unit. 

Visiting

It is important that you keep in touch with your family and/ or carers and friends. Family and friends are welcome to visit you outside of education hours up until 7:45pm.  How many visits, for how long and time off the ward with family and/ or carers will be discussed.
