Find your local park

More people than ever are looking to keep fit for free. One way to keep exercising and reduce costs is to find out where you can go for a walk in your local area. There are likely to be several open spaces, playgrounds, nature reserves, sports pitches and parks that you can visit close to your home. One way to find where they are is to find your local park on gov.uk. This tool is designed to point you in the right direction of parks and green spaces on your doorstep. It’s also a great way to embed exercise into your daily routine because exercise doesn’t always mean joining a gym.
