Haematology is the study of the blood and blood-forming tissues. The Cancer Division is responsible for all clinical haematology services including non-malignant disorders.
Clinical haematology is available at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Glan Clwyd Hospital and Wrexham Maelor Hospital with outpatient, day case and inpatient facilities available at all three sites.
Inpatient facilities at Ysbyty Gwynedd and Glan Clwyd Hospital are used for planned inpatient admission of complex cases from across North Wales.
The service is led by a Clinical Director and supported by Consultants and Associated Specialist Staff.
