Val Vickers, Emergency Nurse Practitioner
Emergency Nurse Practitioner Val Vickers will be among the many dedicated health professionals working this Christmas, providing essential care to patients with minor injuries at Holywell Communtiy Hospital. Val has been part of the team in Holywell since the service began and will be one of three practitioners ensuring the community receives prompt treatment on Christmas Day.
“Working on Christmas Day is lovely,” says Val. “It’s a pleasure to help people in the community and avoid them having to wait a long time in the Emergency Department when possible. That way, they can head back home and spend Christmas Day with their family and loved ones, that’s the important bit.”
