Be active

For optimal health and wellbeing we need to maintain daily levels of physical activity, this does not necessarily mean intense physical activity. Activities such as walking can also encourage social interactions and boost overall mental health.
  

Evidence suggests that physical activity changes the brain chemistry to release ‘happy hormones’ which in turn can make you feel more positive. Discover a physical activity that suits your level of mobility and fitness as you are likely to keep doing it regularly whilst having also having fun.
