Podiatry and Orthotics

5th May 2020

Thank you for your patience while limits on who we see have been in place over the last few weeks.

We still have no formal date issued as to when our service will re-open as normal.

Please do not ring for appointments in an attempt to preempt us re-opening, as it stops others with urgent SOS calls getting through.

When we are open to receive calls for bookings, this page is where that information will be seen first.

When we do re-open priority will initially be given to those with the greatest podiatry risk, e.g higher risk diabetic patients, with all others able to book in after that.

19th March 2020

On government direction the Podiatry and Orthotics Department is now closed to routine follow up review appointments. This will be the case until restrictions on activity are lifted.

We will contact any patients assessed at increased risk or referred as urgent to discuss how we are able to assist them during this difficult period.

Please monitor this page for information which will alert you to when the phone lines are allowed to re-open, in order to book review/ follow up appointments. This will depend on government advice.

If you have an urgent problem, or wish to discuss your concerns, please phone the usual number where you will be asked the nature of your concern and a senior clinician will phone you back.
