"More than two million COVID-19 vaccinations have now been given to people living or working in North Wales by our staff and primary care colleagues local to North Wales.
The significant milestone was reached today as the vaccination programme continues to play an important part in protecting our communities.
All our staff and primary care partners have played a significant role in delivering Wales’ world-leading vaccine rollout, which is the largest immunisation programme ever undertaken by the NHS.
Those vaccinations have been administered in care homes and over 200 different locations, including GP surgeries, mass vaccination centres, mobile clinics and community pharmacies, as part of a huge logistical effort to ensure equity of access to the population of North Wales.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has made this campaign such an incredible success, and also to all of those people who have come forward to be vaccinated."

Spring booster campaign
The latest phase of our COVID-19 vaccination campaign is aimed at the most vulnerable in our communities, including residents in care homes for older adults, people aged 75 and over and those aged five years and over who are immunosuppressed.
In recent weeks our vaccination teams have been busy delivering COVID-19 spring boosters to residents in care homes for older adults and those housebound aged over 75.
Next, we will start to invite other eligible people to come for their vaccinations and this will be done through the post, so there is no need for anyone to contact the Health Board or their GP.
Please attend the arranged appointment offered if possible, but if you need to cancel or rearrange then please let us know via the COVID-19 Vaccination Contact Centre as missed appointments have an impact on our resources.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Contact Centre can be contacted on 03000 840004, which is open 8am to 7pm from Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm at the weekend.
Vaccinations for children aged 6 months to 4 years
Children aged 6 months to 4 are eligible for a two-dose primary course of COVID-19 vaccination if they are considered to be in the “at risk” category.
The Health Board will start contacting the parents or guardians directly of the children who qualify for this offer within the next two weeks to start booking in to clinics that will run from the end of May.
