Lucy Reid has worked in the NHS for nearly 20 years in both England and Wales and across both primary and secondary care. She has extensive experience in clinical and corporate governance, patient safety and the development of learning cultures within organisations. She was appointed as Independent Board Member for BCUHB in September 2018 before being appointed as Vice Chair in December 2019.
She has worked as a Chair for the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service and serves as a Magistrate for the North Wales Criminal Bench. Lucy is also a Committee Chair for the Primary Care Appeals Service for NHS Resolution. She provides specialist training and advisory services to NHS England and NHS Improvement and the Care Quality Commission.
