Executive Director of Therapies and Health Sciences

 Adrian Thomas has worked in North Wales since 2004 and, following the reorganisation of NHS services in 2010, became Assistant Director of Therapies and Health Sciences for the Health Board. He qualified as a Biomedical Scientist in 1988 and worked as a scientist for 15 years in blood transfusion, immunology and transplantation, before moving into healthcare management.

Adrian has held senior management roles in surgery, medicine, diagnostics, cancer, pharmacy and a dental hospital. Adrian will continue his work raising the profile of the Therapy and Health Science professions, who have a key role in improving services for patients as we move towards providing more care closer to home.
