Breast Care

Our Breast Care Service consists of three multidisciplinary teams of consultants and nurses who have specialist knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat breast problems in both women and men.   

Each team includes surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists and specialist nurses.  The three Breast Care teams are based in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Ysbyty Wrecsam Maelor.

Our Breast Cancer teams aim is to deliver expert, patient focussed care for patients with breast problems. 

You may have been referred by your GP because you have noticed something different about your breasts, maybe a lump or a change in appearance.  Alternatively you may have been referred by the Breast Test Wales national breast cancer screening service, following a screening mammogram and further investigations, because they have found an abnormality in your breast which requires treatment.
