Through this model, staff across various departments have been empowered to integrate Welsh Language skills into their daily roles, strengthening inclusive, person-centred care.
The new model:
Beth Jones, BCU's Welsh Language Training Manager said, ''It is a great honour for our Welsh language training team to be shortlisted for the NHS Wales Award. Delivering services to patients in their preferred language is a key factor in providing high quality care, therefore the work we do to support our staff to learn and improve their Welsh language skills is vital. We'd like to say a big DIOLCH to our learners for their commitment, time and dedication to learning Welsh.''
