Let's Talk Women's Health

Women are being invited to take part in an important conversation about the future of women’s health services across North Wales.

Let’s Talk Women’s Health will take place on Monday 9 September, from 11am to 1pm, at the North Wales Women’s Centre in Rhyl.

The session will give women the chance to share their views and experiences of health services, and to highlight the issues that matter most to them.

Attendees will also hear about some of the Health Board’s ideas for the future, including the Pathfinder Hub, a new approach to providing women with joined-up access to care, support and advice. The event is part of a wider programme of engagement aimed at making sure women’s voices are at the centre of decisions about their health and wellbeing.

Angela Wood, Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, said:

“This is a real opportunity for women to influence the way health services are designed and delivered across North Wales. By coming together and sharing experiences, we can make sure women’s voices are not only heard but acted upon. The feedback we receive will directly contribute to our Women’s Health Plan, ensuring services reflect the needs and priorities of women in our communities.”

This latest session builds on the success of previous women’s health events, where women spoke openly about their experiences and the changes they would like to see. Their feedback has already informed the development of new ideas, such as the Pathfinder Hub.
