Young people considering their career options, and people looking for a career change are invited to discover exciting opportunities in cancer are at North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre's upcoming open day.
On Sunday 28 September, the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre (NWCTC) at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan, will open its doors to the public between 10am and 3pm as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
Th event is designed to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals and also support those who are looing for a change in careers available in cancer services. From cutting edge science and technology to hands-on patient care and essential support roles.

“We would like to reach Years 11, 12 and 13 in North Wales schools, as well as anyone considering a career change. Cancer Services is an ever-changing, dynamic work environment where teamwork and innovation are key. We hope this event will inspire people in our community to consider a future in healthcare – perhaps even becoming the next radiographers, oncologists or specialist nurses here at NWCTC.”
