Jane Moore, Executive Director of Public Health

We are pleased to share the news that Jane Moore has been appointed as the Executive Director of Public Health. Jane has been in the role as Acting Executive Director of Public Health since January 2024 and will now continue in the role on a substantive basis.

Jane has an extensive record of working to reduce health inequalities, improve population health intelligence and deliver effective strategic transformation in the NHS. Jane has worked on significant programmes across the NHS, including the coordination of the health system response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, as well as leading the UK capital’s screening programme and the emergency preparedness, resilience and response plans for NHS North East London during the London 2012 Olympics.
