Press, filming and media enquiries

The Health Board Press Desk is open from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and is staffed by a member of the Communications Team. 

Please get in touch with us as soon possible to enable us to get back to you as quickly as we can. 

Out of hours and urgent enquiries

If you have an urgent media enquiry outside office hours that cannot wait until the next working day, please contact our hospital switchboard on 01248 384 384 and ask to speak to the Silver On-Call Manager who will either deal with the enquiry or notify the Communications Team if appropriate.

Location Filming

We often receive requests for filming on our sites. Proposals will be considered and accommodated where possible and if appropriate. 

Under no circumstances may interviews, filming or photography take place on our property without the express permission of the Communications Team.

If you carry out any filming or photography without permission, you will be asked to leave the site. 

A Patient Condition Check

To request a patient condition check, please ensure that you have their full name (with the correct spelling) and the details surrounding their admission to hospital. We are unable to provide a condition check without this information.

Patient confidentiality: We will not divulge any information about a patient unless we are given permission from the individual or their next of kin. 

Patient interviews: All requests of this nature including the photographing of patients must be made through the Communications Team.
