Fon Roberts

Fôn Roberts has been Director of Social Services for Anglesey County Council since June 2020, having previously worked as Head of Service for Children and Families.

Fôn brings a wealth of experience to the Associate Member role, having worked in a number of local authorities across Wales and England. He has 26 years’ experience as a qualified and registered social worker and his passion is to deliver the best possible care and services to the most vulnerable in our communities.

He has overseen the development of National, Regional and Local partnership initiatives to promote the well-being of children, young people and adults who need care and support, as well as carers and young carers who need support.
