Director of Performance and Commissioning
The Director of Performance & Commissioning will lead the development and management of the Health Board’s strategic performance and commissioning frameworks. Representing the Health Board, the post holder will participate in the Cross-border Network between England and Wales, upholding the Welsh Government’s Values and Principles statement and advising the Executive Committee on the recommended response to relevant cross-border issues.
The role has responsibility for whole System Commissioning strategy and development, including budget holder for Secondary Care Commissioning Long Term Agreements and Service Level Agreements, Specialised Services Commissioning, and commissioning of Patient Services.
Building and maintaining positive relationships both internally and across multi-sector organisations is key to success in this role. Therefore Dyfed and I are seeking a credible leader, with proven experience in the field, and with highly developed communication skills and political awareness to shape and develop the performance and commissioning framework for BCU.
