Alexis Parry, Catering Supervisor
Alexis has been working in the catering department for 27 years and thinks this is about her 12th Christmas Day she’ll be working.
Alexis said: “I’m working the 10am-6pm shift, so I’ll be opening presents with my son in the morning and then walk to work. I will be a very busy shift and we’ll go quickly go from breakfast, lunch and dinner. The team work very hard in the run up to and Christmas Day to ensure all our staff and patients are served.
“I don’t usually eat dinner during my shift so I can have my Christmas dinner with my son in the evening, and I’ll be off then until New’s Year’s Eve, to have a nice break.”
