Russell Caldicott

Russell joined the Health Board as interim Executive Director of Finance in July 2023 and has been in the role on a substantive basis since January 2025.

Russell is a qualified accountant and full member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, with more than 25 years’ experience within NHS organisations. He has held the post of chief finance officer for Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust for the past eight years and previously occupied senior roles at University Hospitals of North Staffordshire NHS Trust and Sandwell Healthcare NHS Trust.
