If you are a member of the public who has a concern please visit our Patient Advice and Liaison pages for further information.
Speaking up safely is a scheme that will support colleagues to speak up about concerns and issues, no matter how big or small.
The scheme aims to ensure a high quality and safe service is provided by a confident and engaged workforce. This scheme will enable an open, and transparent culture. This will lead to the protection of patient safety, providing the high quality of care that our patients deserve, and improving the experience for everyone.
There are a number of different ways you can raise concerns:
1. Have a conversation about your concerns with your line manager. Or if you prefer, another manager in your service.
2. Explore the different options available to you in our new Respect and Resolution Policy which replaces Dignity at Work and our Grievance Policies.
3. Speak to a Trade Union representative or equivalent professional group.
4. Talk to one of our Speaking Up Safely Guardians who can support you with taking your concerns forward.
5. Find out further information from one of our locally based Speaking Up Safely Champions.
6. Register to use Work in Confidence for a confidential and anonymous conversation with a Guardian or member of the Speak Up Safely Multi-Disciplinary Team.
