Health and Care Standards

Performance and Accountability Framework

The Performance and Accountability Framework sets out the means by which the Health Board can easily identify areas of excellence for wider sharing and celebration and areas where additional support may be required. It is the framework by which the Board, Executive Leadership Team, hospitals, community & primary care area leadership and specialty teams, and corporate functions are held to account for their performance.

Key strategic decisions for the organisation are made by Welsh Government and those at Executive Director and Board level. 

The Communications team handle press and media enquiries, internal communications, generation of good news and staff stories, co-ordination of publicity campaigns, media releases, photography, filming requests, media interviews, ensuring the Health Board maintains a professional corporate image, managing the Health Board's Intranet and Internet sites (as well as other related sites), managing the Health Board's digital channels including social media and other related platforms.
