Ysbyty Glan Clwyd

Our spacious, state of the art new building has five intensive care cots, five high dependency cots and nine special care cots.  We offer consultant led care for sick and premature infants above 26 weeks gestation from across North Wales and beyond.  We also have a 12 hour neonatal transport service.

We are situated in the orange area of the hospital and are next to the delivery suite.

We have two bedrooms for parents to use on the unit and other accommodation next to the children’s ward nearby.  There are facilities for parents and siblings including a play area and kitchen on the unit.

We have a programme of family integrated care activities and work closely with high skilled allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and dietitians.
