Our team of skilled professionals work alongside parents, children and young people to support their needs as they grow and develop. 

Our Children, Young People and Family Health Services include: 

School Nursing

The School Nursing Service offers support and advice to children, young people and their families or carers to help ensure that they reach their full potential during their school aged years and beyond.

Health Visitors

Your Health Visitor will provide support from your child's birth to their first years of school. 

Flying Start

Flying Start is a Welsh Government funded programme for families with children 0-4 years of age that are living in specific disadvantaged areas of Wales.

Looked after Children

Looking after and listening to young people. 

Paediatric Continence

A team of nurses trained in the assessment and management of assessing a child’s continence needs.


The neurodevelopmental team assesses children and young people where there are concerns regarding a possible neurodevelopmental condition, i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
