NHS Wales e-Library

This is a collection of electronic resources, funded by the Welsh Government, and available to all NHS Wales staff and healthcare students on placement.

It includes full text eJournals, databases such as Medline, Embase, Social Care Online, PsycInfo, as well as Medicines Information (BNF & BNF for Children), and links to clinical guidelines. It also includes access to the evidence summary tool BMJ Best Practice, and the clinical search engine ClinicalKey.

The Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Procedures Online (10th ed) can also be accessed. It is a resource which gives you up-to-date evidence-based knowledge of clinical procedures, and supports the delivery of patient-centred care.

To gain full access to many of the resources you will be prompted to sign-in.  You will be presented with two sign-in options :

NHS Wales Email Address:  Choose this option if you have an NHS email address and network (NADEX) password.
