People at highest risk of serious illness will be offered the annual NHS flu vaccine this autumn
The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against the flu is to get the annual NHS flu vaccine. The vaccine can prevent you getting the flu, reduce the severity of symptoms if you do, and help to prevent you passing it on to other vulnerable people.
If you or your loved ones are eligible for the NHS flu vaccine, please make sure you top up your protection this year.
Flu vaccines are quick and very safe. They can prevent weeks of serious illness, and protect you, your family and the wider community.
This autumn, the NHS flu vaccine will be offered to the following groups. Click on the heading to learn more about how members of these groups can receive their vaccine here in North Wales.
All adults in Welsh prisons will also be offered a flu vaccine by prison healthcare teams from October onwards. Further guidance about eligibility is available from the Welsh Government.
