Mental Health and Learning Disability (MHLD) services are introducing an Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) system to improve the way we deliver your care.
We believe this will positively change the way you, your families and carers access our services. It will also help our staff to support you more efficiently.
When you access services, it is important we record your information so you do not have to keep repeating your story. The teams involved in your care should be able to access the relevant information to support you. We believe this new digital system will help us to do that better.
What’s Changing?
Your healthcare records are going to be held digitally. This means the right people can safely see the right information at the right time, on a secure computer system.
What This Means for You:
This change is about making your experiences of care safer, consistent and easier for you, by improving how we communicate. We want you to feel supported, listened to and cared for through every step of their journey.
This webpage is designed to update you on our progress as we introduce an Electronic Healthcare Record system which will be better for you and better for the staff who support you.
