Dyfed Wyn Jones

Dyfed is an Elected Member and represents Llanfairpwll and Menai Bridge on Anglesey County Council. He is Vice-Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee and a member of the Governance and Audit Committee.

He is very active within his community as secretary of the Youth Football Club and also as the Chair of Governors of Llanfairpwll School.

Dyfed is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Dyfed’s professional background is in careers, education and skills. He has been working as a Project Manager for many years across the public and private sectors, developing and achieving strategic aims successfully. He has a specific interest in developing the workforce and giving opportunities specifically to young people. 

He was raised in the village of Penisa’r-waun in Gwynedd but has settled on Anglesey during the last 24 years and lives in the village of Llanfairpwll with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he’s a football manager for Llanfair’s under 15s and enjoys local history and hiking.
