Six Community Drug and Alcohol Teams provided in Partnership with each local Authority work across North Wales. There are active partnerships within the local Substance Misuse Action Teams (SMATs), Police, and Probation Services. The service also has a Specialist Midwifery Service and mobile Harm Reduction Service that covers the six counties of North Wales, both of which have been seen as National examples of good practice.
In-patient detoxification and rehabilitation services are provided at Hafan Wen. This is a purpose-built unit for the treatment of substance misuse/alcoholism provided by Adferiad, an independent provider.
