Executive Director of Workforce and Organisational Development

Our Workforce are our greatest asset. Recruiting, developing and retaining our people is key to enabling the Health Board move forward and achieve sustained success.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and compassionate leader for this flagship role leading our Workforce and Organisational Development Teams.

The Executive Director of Workforce and OD will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce and driving positive cultural change across the organisation, and ultimately improving services for the people of North Wales.

As well as being a key member of the Executive Board team, shaping the culture and direction of our workforce the post holder will act as ambassador for the Health Board on a national basis contributing to NHS Wales Workforce and OD strategy and leading on specific national work streams.

As the largest Health Boards in Wales, it’s no surprise that the Workforce and OD function is similarly comprised, with multiple teams on multiple sites. Organisational structures are available here to illustrate the size and complexity of the teams
