Research and Development

Research and development is a daily part of our work, to help improve the health and wellbeing of the people of North Wales.

We are looking at new ways to prevent, manage and treat disease, as well as improve our knowledge and advance treatments in the NHS with the aim of making a difference in people’s lives.

Our Research and Development team is part funded by Health Care Research Wales and the Welsh Government to support the range of research from simple questionnaires, to highly complex clinical trials testing new drugs, treatments and therapies. It is a key driver in providing evidence based improved prevention, diagnosis and care options for patients.
