Sexual Health

The Sexual Health Service is currently experiencing IT issues which is going to take approximately two weeks to resolve. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, please be assured the service is working urgently to resolve the IT issue. This is affecting their ability to see all patients in the usual way. In the meantime please be assured you can still contact the service for urgent issues or advice, using the contact telephone numbers provided in this section below. Your GP or Chemist is able to support you in the usual way.

Our sexual health clinics offer a range of free and confidential services including testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV testing, contraception including morning after pill (emergency contraception), free condoms, pregnancy tests, screening for blood borne viruses (hepatitis B and C), and vaccination for hepatitis B and HPV, pre and post exposure prophylaxis (PrEP and PEP/PEPSE) and sexual health promotion.

We are not currently providing the IUS for heavy menstrual bleeding or HRT.
