Phil Meakin

Phil joined the Health Board in August 2022 as Associate Director of Governance. Prior to this, he was Associate Director of Governance in Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board.  Phil has held senior roles in Community Services, Primary Care Provider Development and Commissioning Support.

Phil joined the NHS from Sky where he was National Operations Manager for Sky in Ireland.  He joined the NHS because he wanted to use the skills he has to make a positive difference to patients, workforce and communities.

Phil is an avid sports fan and “enthusiastic amateur” at playing Hockey and enjoys the company of family and friends.
