The workshop looks at identifying the root of sensory processing differences, identify possible triggers, and strategies that may reduce the effects of these issues.

  1. Have an overview of the main sensory systems that contribute to a child’s function.
  2. Be able to attribute sensory issues to these systems and relate these to observed behaviours including sensory arousal levels.
  3. Be able recognise possible environmental triggers to sensory processing issues.
  4. Have the opportunity to discuss and share practical implementable strategies.
